Video and animation projects

storyboarding & scripting  |  animation  |  filming  |  production & editing
I produced all of the following videos and animations from scratch - working solo - from storyboarding and writing the scripts, to arranging all logistics, filming and editing. All of these videos were produced with minimal equipment and to a tight budget and deadline.
Beacon Awards - opening sequence
The Beacon Awards celebrate exceptional philanthropists from well known figures, like Dame Vivienne Westwood and Dame Kelly Holmes, to everyday people who have been successful in their own lives and want to give something back. For the 10th Beacon Awards ceremony, which took place in May 2017 in London's prestigious Mansion House, UK Community Foundation asked me to produce an animated opening sequence for their promotional video. This, along with some animated cut-aways I created (you can see an example here!), was used to promote this year's winners and was shown at the event.

Stop motion animation for the TUC
Whilst working for the Trades Union Congress I created the following animation to promote their 'Saving Our Safety Net' campaign. I storyboarded, scripted, filmed, edited and even provided the location (my kitchen) and voice-over!

Bear in mind animation - personal project
I produced this short animation as part of a one year animation course at City Lit, London.

#MakeMCR - Spacehive promotional video
Whilst working at Spacehive I produced this short promotional video to encourage community projects in Manchester to crowdfund their ideas on the Spacehive platform, and to promote Spacehive's partnership with Manchester City Council. The video was produced to an extremely tight budget and deadline - I visited Manchester and filmed everything, working alone, in one day and then edited it the next!

Spacehive & Mayor of London: Peckham Coal Line case study
I also produced this video whilst working at Spacehive. Similarly to the video above it was produced to a tight deadline and with a very small budget. The video was used to promote Spacehive's partnership with the Greater London Authority.
